Paragon was born in 2011 out of an increased need to guide foreign investors into fully vetted development projects in the United States that ensured achievement of their immigration, capital preservation, and return on investment goals. As a fully integrated investment management and real estate investment firm, we provide our investors with the platform, oversight, and control they need in order to be successful in the United States. whether through the EB-5 green card program, the E-2 treaty investor program, or through financial investments in property development projects.

David Bosworth

David is an American entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience facilitating cross border equity investments between overseas investors and US real estate development projects. Before founding Paragon Capital Group, he co-founded and served as CEO for an international digital media firm headquartered in Shanghai, which was sold in a trade-sale in 2011. David also is Managing Partner of Paragon Capital Group’s sister company, Paragon Partners Asia. Through Paragon Partners Asia, David is also a shareholder in Link People, a Shanghai-based real estate rehabilitation and management firm that specializes in developing co-living spaces for young professionals, interns, and visiting students. David graduated with a B.A. in Global Studies form the University of California Santa Barbara and attended graduate studies at National Taiwan University. He is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and is an avid surfer and snowboarder

Jacob Allmaras

Jacob has spent 7 years living and working in Asia.  He has several years of investment management experience and has been involved with raising several billion dollars over multiple asset classes.  Jacob has fundraised for several high-profile projects including Hudson Yards, a $25 billion project that has transformed New York’s downtown landscape. Jacob received his B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College where he was awarded Dean’s List for academic excellence and captain of the men’s tennis team. Jacob is fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin.

Managing Director - South Asia and Middle East

Sachin Chandavarkar

Sachin Chandavarkar is Managing Director – South Asia and Middle East. Prior to joining Paragon Capital Group, he has had extensive experience in the India and Middle East market in senior positions at Lightstone, HomeFed Corporation and with the Essel Group / Zee Television. Sachin has been with the EB-5 and Private Equity industry since 2011 and as an expert in EB-5 and India related EB-5 issues, is a frequent speaker and panellist at international EB-5 conferences. Sachin is based in Kochi and Bangalore, India. He is fluent in English and Hindi. Sachin holds a double major MBA degree, in Finance and Marketing, from the T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, India and a Bachelors degree from Mumbai University. Sachin is a certified Rescue Scuba Diver. As a long-distance bicyclist raises funds, every year, for a Bangalore, India, based Animal Shelter.

Jon is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.  With over 17 years of experience working for some of the largest and most successful new home builders, Jon has become a knowledgeable, skilled veteran of construction management.  He has a successful track record in accomplishing a broad range of initiatives from planning, creation, implementation, management, and support of many business objectives at a high level. Jon brings a passion for leadership, encouragement of teamwork, a focus on employee development and a relentless pursuit of process improvement and efficiency.

Mark Gathagan

As Investor Relations Director, Mark brings a wealth of experience to the company after spending his career in the financial services, investment management, and legal arenas. He has worked with investors at both major wire houses and a small independent, with an emphasis on alternative investments. He received his J.D. from The University of Akron School of Law and his B.A. in History and Political Science from Malone University, where he graduated with Honors. He was also a member of the men’s tennis team at Malone.
